Vice President, Finance

Ms. Carothers joined KineMed in March 2010 and is responsible for accounting, forecasting, cash management, human resources, and information systems. Prior to joining KineMed, Ms. Carothers had served as Management Consultant to KineMed and other Bay Area firms through the Professional Services Group at Robert Half International. Previously, she served as Chief Financial Officer at Stu Segall Productions in San Diego, where she managed financial reporting, forecasting, cash management, and accounting for four operating companies. From 2004 to 2006, she was Controller for Dos Gringos in Vista, CA, responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, cash management, HR, and IT. Over a period of thirteen years, Ms. Carothers worked for several operating divisions of American Hospital Supply Corp., and after its acquisition, Baxter Healthcare Corp., in a succession of Accounting and Finance management roles of increasing responsibility, including VP Finance for the V.Mueller and Hyland divisions. She earned her C.P.A. certification as a Senior Staff Accountant at Touche Ross & Co. Ms. Carothers received a B.S. degree in Accounting/Operations Research from the University of Southern California.
